Description

i was listening to this as i drew lmao (and slept)

just thought i should describe the way some npcs fight (mainly the potential party members) jusssst in case...might wanna take their strengths into consideration when picking putting them in ur parties and all
ill add this info to their refs as well

"I will not fail the hero!"
Cheat has incredible attack power. They are very nimble and hop and spin around while fighting like it's nothing. This may be because they also have the power to levitate, but they're also just naturally acrobatic. The way they move is very ninja-like, for lack of a better comparison. (but they are, they're totally a ninja) When they hit enemies, they look like they're imitating some form of martial arts. (we're not sure, though. it's a mix of everything) They may look like a happy and soft little creature, but their paws are rock solid and could probably chop bricks in half with minimal effort. The problem is that Cheat is actually a huge show-off. (you'd think that it would be Abe, but no...) They get a little too hyped up whenever players are around and feel the constant need to impress them. (even their shawl grows longer and sparkles everywhere when they fight. that has no purpose) This causes them to over-exert themselves during every battle trying to protect the 'hero.' It takes them a while to recharge and they may be useless if fights last too long, passing out before the end.

"Tch. Leaving it up to me, huh..."
Abe has outstanding defense. Their wings can take almost any non-physical hit and not get damaged. They fare decently against straight up punches and kicks. They are very calm when fighting, not moving as much as someone like Cheat. (though they are certainly capable of doing so) They are very graceful and move like a majestic, killer swan. They typically don't use their feet to fight; their wings are strong enough to slap someone silly. (or worse) They can also generate a lot of wind power, which can be used to either knock someone down or move the clouds away so the sun shines brighter. Because of their indifferent nature when battles begin, they're very slow and unwilling to fight at first. Bringing Abe to a fight can be very frustrating because of this, as they won't help you right away. It is worth it later on, however, since the more they see players fight the more riled up they get, and they end up being very powerful and energized towards the ends of battles. So if you think you'll be tired by the later and need someone to finish the enemy off, there you go.

"Rest in peace, myu!"
Wish is not a potential party member, but if you ever see them guarding Sleepytown then you'll probably be a little unnerved. They have tons of speed and agility (being a ghost) and are extremely hard to hit. Physical attacks do not usually do much, since they can dematerialize themselves. This makes them blend in with the darkness of Sleepytown, only appearing to strike. They will actively use their hands to generate light beams that do more damage to Corrupted than anything else. These beams burn, but it takes more energy to make it feel like anything more than rays of sunlight to the average player. (Wish would never attack a player, though) Another way of attacking they have is to absorb enemies completely-- just take them in that giant ghost skirt and they'll disappear forever. Wish cannot do this to too many enemies at a time, or they risk hurting themselves. It also works better on creatures who were weakened first. (strong ones might break away)

"If that is what you wish, we will do it."
Styl, as expected, has great defense and attack, but very little speed. Being stone-like and all. She's too heavy to fly so she uses her wings to hit people instead. She can exert her pressure within a 10 feet distance (approximately), which looks like a giant ball of energy surrounding her and will damage anyone nearby, also sending them flying in the opposite direction. Using this ability too often will cause her stone skin to darken. This is not her becoming corrupted, but a sign of her life force being drained away. If she darkens completely then she'll explode. Pleasant. Styl has no issues with listening to players (who are polite) and will do her best to protect and fight for them. Styl is a very useful NPC to have around, but you have to be careful. She can stand most hits, but never, NEVER let her fall from a high place. She will shatter and die. There's a reason why players don't try to make her fight in the air, and this is it.

"I-I'm doing this for you, I don't actually like exploding, you know!"
Celly's strength lies mostly in his speed and agility, although his explosions can also be powerful if he really tries. He's very quick to react and recover, acting as your personal bomb with infinite uses. His explosions will not produce any candy or presents during battles as he is focusing on protecting players, not entertaining them. There are a few hazards to Celly, however. First off, he is made of a paper-like material that is highly flammable. The only flames that would not affect him are the candles on his back, otherwise anything could light him up. He will panic if this happens, exploding over and over again with no sight of where the enemy is, rendering him useless. The only way to make him stop is to pour water on him to douse the flames (since they don't go away after he regenerates) and then he will become slower and less likely to explode on time. He can't really be wet, either. Celly is a good companion to have if your battle is not underwater or in the deep pits of flaming hell.

Mirror is also a potential party member but they are not shown, as their ability is to copy others. Any strengths/weaknesses the other NPCs have will also be transferred to them if they transform into them.
